Our passion is for complex systems. Our mission is for simplification. Our vocation is in systems thinking. And our profession is in circularity. (That’s our ikigai.)

Complexity

The world is complex. Life is complex. Society, business, and education are all complex systems too. There is complexity all around us.

By studying the nature of complexity we can understand our place in the world. And by understanding our place in the world, we can truly begin to thrive, and make the world a better place.

Simplification

There are innumerable benefits to pursuing simplicity and simplification. Consider a few of them: increased efficiency and productivity, reduced stress and anxiety, greater clarity and focus, and better overall experiences.

That being said, the path to simplification is not easy. But making the journey is well worth the effort

Circularity

Circularity provides a way to achieve sustained competitive advantage, while simultaneously addressing environmental and ecological concerns.

Companies that adopt circularity are able to develop new core competencies. As a result, they can perform better, improve efficiency, cuts costs, enhance brand recognition and reputation, mitigate risks, and successfully develop new products.

Jason Andrew Polko

Many things in business, as in life, are unnecessarily complicated. The dominant theme of my career has been to help individuals and companies cut through the tangled knots of everyday complexity, and find those surprisingly simple yet elegant solutions to the strategic, organisational, and technological problems they face.

I have over two decades of accumulated experience in education, training, coaching, and consulting. I have worked for a number of different companies in both North America and Southeast Asia, and have held a wide range of roles and positions. Most recently, I have headed up and driven portfolios in strategy, data analytics, business partnerships, and executive education and certification. Currently, I have lectured extensively on higher-order thinking (both critical and creative), problem solving, and decision making. My most recent training workshops have been in the area of managing innovation.

As my catchphrase says:

“It doesn’t have to be complicated…”
